Elixir was born from a truly spectacular midlife meltdown.

Not the cute kind—no pink hair or spur-of-the-moment trip to Amalfi. This was the kind that strips you more than naked and rakes its eyes over you. A career imploding after decades in global health, a house too full of memories (and big bills) to stay in, a body perimenopausing, an achingly empty nest. The ground gave way—and underneath the shatter, an unexpected shimmer has emerged.

Longing.

A deep, almost aching desire to create something beautiful. To gather people in spaces that feel like a warm gasp of recognition. To design experiences that leave you feeling more you than you were before. To publish artifacts of insight and wonder that shift your view of the world.

Elixir is the phoenix rising from that reckoning: a creative studio, a consulting practice, a salon of ideas, a series of sparkly parties, and a publishing house of strange little treasures. It’s where my strategic business brain and my sensual, soulful side finally say yes to each other.

As a writer, creative strategist, and lifelong student of human behavior, I’ve spent 25+ years helping global organizations tell better stories and spark real change—across countries, continents and countless campaigns. I’ve designed behavioral interventions, built brands, and led mission-driven teams.

But Elixir isn’t just about what I’ve done—it’s about what I crave: Intimacy. Awe. Mischief.
